Flu Vaccination Campaign 2020/2021

Due to Covid restrictions and new guidelines, we are providing services differently this year. We have a dedicated sessions booked for groups of patients to ensure that patients are only mixing with groups within their own risk category.

We will be holding set clinics at Peverell Park Surgery during October using weekend clinics 8am-6pm. We have no flexibility to change days or times and ask please that you make every effort to attend these dedicated sessions. Clinics will be booked in 1 hour slots and we ask that you attend within your allocated hour slot, there will be no waiting area available and you will need to queue outside to meet social distancing requirements.

Please do not attend if you have any cold/covid like symptoms.

Patients will be contacted either by text message or letter advising them of their allocated date and time

There will be no parking on site; the lane leading to the practice will be closed for patient safety.

When you arrive at the surgery there will be a queuing system in place leading from the main courtyard, you will be asked to maintain social distancing at all times. The vaccination will take place within our marquee, as you approach the marquee a member of our team will ask you for your name, DOB and will scan you in, at this point please remove coats and have your arm exposed ready to be vaccinated.

After removing your coat you will be asked to approach the next available free clinical team member, who will ask brief questions regarding allergies and previous vaccinations. There will be a one way system in place. We ask please that you wear a face covering at all times.

We ask where possible that you attend alone or with only one other person to help us maintain social distancing and to keep all patients safe. We hope that these steps will help you feel safe and secure.

Thank you Peverell Park Surgery & University Medical Centre
