Online Appointment Booking - Conditions of Use

The following conditions of use are in place to assist patients in the use of the online booking of appointments and to ensure that no unfair advantage can be gained.

• The booking of an appointment online is only available for the person booking it, and is not to be used for another patient. For Example: If a child in the family needs to be seen by a doctor , then that child must be registered as an online patient.
• If an appointment needs to be cancelled by a patient, this can only be done online 24hrs or more in advance of the booked appointment, within that 24hr period, the patient is expected to contact the surgery personally to cancel the appointment.
• Only routine appointments can be booked online. Anyone wishing to book a clinic appointment must contact the surgery personally.
• The online booking system should not be used for treatment normally done by nursing staff. For example: Dressing of wounds, taking of blood samples.

The surgery reserves the right to stop a patient's access to online appointments if any of the conditions of use shown above are not adhered to.
